Tablerock Events for 2009

  • Salado Legends Auditions — February 7th & 8th, 2009 — 3:00 pm each day. Auditions for over 100 men, women, and children actors. Not all are speaking roles. Rehearsals begin mid-June.   • 13th Annual Denver Mills Golf Tournament to Benefit Tablerock — March 16th, 2009 — Mill Creek Golf Course, Salado, TX. $75.00 entry fee. Shotgun start at 1:00 pm.   • Tablerock’s 12th Annual Gospel Festival — April 17th & 18th, 2009 — On Friday April 17th from 6:00PM until 9:00PM, and on Saturday the 18th from 9:00AM until 9:00PM, you are invited to enjoy the best Texas has to offer in gospel singers, bands, groups, trios, duets and individuals. $5 adults, $3 children age12 and under.   • 17th Annual production of Salado Legends - Tablerock Festival of Salado, Inc. July 18th, 25th and August 1st, 2009 - Dinner at 7:15PM - $8.00 Adult or Child (catered meal is optional, reservations required). Theater at 8:15PM $17.00 Adults and $5.00 Children. Texas' favorite outdoor musical drama with cast & crew of over 100! Where history, legend and memories meet to weave the legends of the Tonkawa Indians, the dreams of Spanish explorers and the hopes of the Scottish settlers into a panoramic tale.   • A Christmas Carol & Fright Trail Auditions — October 3rd, and 4th, 2009 at 3:00 PM each day. Information 254-947-9205.
  • Fright Trail - The Classics along Tablerock's Walking Trail — October 24th, 25th, & 31st, 2009 — Tablerock’s one-half-mile walking trail presents thrills and chills for old and young to enjoy a haunting Halloween treat. Re-live the great horror classics and expect the unexpected along the enchanted trail! The concession stand will sell drinks and snacks as well as smelling salt.   • 17th Annual production of A Christmas Carol - Tablerock Festival of Salado, Inc.
    December 4th, 5th, 11th & 12th, 2009. Dickens' famous Yuletide story adapted and directed by Harry Sweet. 7:00PM, the first two Friday & Saturday nights in December. Adults, $10.00 Students $5.00 and Children 12 & under $3.00 . The concession stand opens at 6:30PM to serve sandwiches, chili, hot & cold drinks, candy & chips for your pleasure.
